Office Ergonomics & Changes Thru the Years
The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the November program -- Office Ergonomics & Changes Thru the Years -- on Friday, November 20. The keynote speaker will be Jennifer Lingafelter, Ergonomist, Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. Lingafelter has more than 20 years of consulting experience with more than 500 employers covering most industrial types in northeast Ohio. In addition to technical surveys, she works with employers on safety grants, ergonomics/safety team development and lean initiatives. Her presentation will cover items including: ---changes on office ergonomist thru the years ---concerns of/for the sedentary lifestyles ---issues with hand-held devices ---and recent trends, such as treadmill desks Lingafelter is an instructor for the BWC Ohio Center for Occupational Safety & Health and has taught classes such as: Safety for CEOs, Measuring Safety Performance, Developing Effective Safety Teams and Train the Trainer programs. The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m. The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
