Workplace Violence & Bullying Identification & Avoidance

The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the June program --- Workplace Violence & Bullying - on Friday, June 19.

This program is suggested for all managers, supervisors and company owners and presidents.

The keynote speaker will be Tim Dimoff, President & CEO, SACS Consulting and Investigative Services.

We like to think the workplace is safe. But in reality, Americans are bringing their problems and violence to the workplace.

From bullying and simple assaults, to unexpected aggression and active shooters, no organization is safe.

Dimoff will outline specific objectives such as:

---Learn what causes workplace violence

---Identify your duty to protect employees and visitors

---Identify the definition and types of workplace violence

---Learn a proactive approach to preventing violence

---Identify the three levels of violence and how to respond to them

---Learn the process for terminating a violent employee

The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 7:15 a.m.

The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Reservations may be made online at the LCSC web site listed below.

The event is sponsored by:
