Where Wellness Meets the Road

The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the series of January wellness programs. The first two programs being --- Where Wellness Meets the Road - along with individualized wellness screenings.

The meetings are on Friday, January 16, Friday January 23 and Friday, January 30.

The Friday, January 30 meeting will highlight the presentation of the wellness screening results, with individualized packets for each participant.

The keynote speakers will be Dr. Nancy Rodway from Lake Health, and Chris Brill-Packard, also from Lake Health..

The January 16 and 23 meetings will address issues such as:

---Fat does not make you fat

---Myths about fat and high cholesterol

---Carbohydrates and heart attack

---Training and workouts that work

The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 7 a.m.

The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Reservations may be made online at the LCSC web site listed below.
