Basic Safety Program Design
The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the January program --- Basic Safety Program Design --- on Friday, January 17. The keynote speaker will be Scott D. Cole, COSS, CSP, from Turner Construction Co. Cole is the Northern Ohio Safety Manager for Turner Construction. His safety experience includes work in heavy manufacturing, government and construction. He is a board certified safety professional, as well as a certified occupational safety specialist and has safety certifications from Ohio University, Ohio State University and Texas A&M University He will be discussing basic safety program design...including, but not limited to elements such as--- ---Clear Goals and Objectives, Scope and Quality verses Quantity, Good or Great? ---Incident Trends, Employee Feedback, Worksite Evaluations, Inspections Trends and Industrial Hygiene Data ---Management Commitment, Employee Involvement, Training and Orientation, Auditing and Document Control. The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m. The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
