LCSC Discusses --- The Cost of Safety
The Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the program -- The Cost of Safety - for Large & Small Operations -- at the Friday, October 25 Lake County Safety Council meeting. The keynote speaker will be Scott D. Cole, CSP, Corporate Safety Director for Pinnacle Construction. He will discuss: Direct Verses Indirect Safety Expenses, Calculating Incident Costs, Safety Budgeting and the Mean Cost of Safety in the United States. Cole is a board certified safety professional and he currently is responsible for safety management of 14 projects located at: NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland and Sandusky, the defense supply center in Columbus, the naval command center in Toledo, the navy support activity in Mechanicsburg, Pa., Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton and Groveport Shopping Plaza in Columbus. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites LaMalfa, with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m. The cost of the event is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
