The steering committee for the Lake County Safety Council is proud to present the July program --- Mentor Fire Department Safety Resources and Mutual Aid -- on Thursday, July 27 at Cater to You. The featured keynote speaker is Rollin Pachinger, Public Education Specialist, Mentor Fire Department. The Thursday, July 27 luncheon program at Cater to You (Father Kline Social Center - St. John Vianney, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor) is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. This training event is provided to you by the LCSC steering committee. The keynote speaker will address the resources available thru the Mentor Fire Department to keep businesses safe from both fire and medical emergencies. He will discus how to recognize medical emergencies; and safety programs the fire depatement offers and how local departments work together to provide a safe working environment in Lake County. Pachinger grew up in Mentor, graduated from Mentor High School, and has been with the department for more than 10 years. He is a firefighter/paramedic and is on the technical rescue team and the fire investigation team. He will discuss: CPR classes; fire extinguisher, smoke detection and fire alarm programs; fire drills and the MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System). SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, July 27, 2023.
